Brain Axial Angiography - Whole Body

Special computed tomography aimed at studying the vessels of the human body, such as the cerebral arteries, the thoracic and abdominal aorta, and their branches.

The examination is done like any CT scan. Intravenous administration of iodinated contrast medium is necessary, however. The test is simple, painless, bloodless and takes a few seconds.

The images are sent to special computers (workstations) where, using special software, the images are reconstructed and studied by the specialized medical radiologist.
