Hospitalization

On the day of the operation, you should arrive at the Hospital at least one hour before, at the Reception & Patient Service Department.

Standard Procedures before admission

At the Reception & Patient Service department you will be asked to fill in a form with your information. You should have your ID and the referral of your doctor / the National Health Service.

You will then be assigned your room.

Hospitalization

Pre-operative assessment

Next, you will be transferred to the ward where the ward nurses will take your medical history. You should be patient and ready to answer the same questions several times.

Despite our efforts to strictly adhere to the surgery schedule, sometimes there may be a delay.
In such a case, your doctor will give the corresponding instructions to the heads of the department where you are treated.

Preparation for Surgery

Before surgery you will be asked to wear a simple gown. If you have dentures, wear contact lenses and jewelry, you should remove them. Also, ladies who have painted nails, should remove the nail polish before surgery. You will be taken to the operating room either in your bed or in a wheelchair. A nurse will take you to the operating room.
