Hellenic Healthcare Group: Winner of the Silver Award by EcoVadis for 2021 in the Corporate Social Responsibility Sector

Another important distinction for Hellenic Healthcare Group (HHG), is the Silver award by EcoVadis, one of the largest and most reliable corporate Sustainability assessment companies in the world, for the socially responsible practices it implements, related to sustainability issues and sustainable development.

According to the evaluation, HHG Group is ranked in the top 10% of health providers internationally, in terms of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility, among the 301 evaluated companies that participated worldwide.

The EcoVadis evaluation system (CSR Rating) concerns the evaluation of the quality of the management systems of Corporate Social Responsibility issues of each company through the policies it has, the practices it applies and the results thereof. The assessment uses 21 criteria, which are grouped into four thematic sections: environment, labor practices and human rights, good business practices and sustainable procurement.

The criteria are based on international standards such as the Global Compact Principles, the treaties of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI Standards) and the ISO 26000 standard among others.

EcoVadis is the leading European organization for assessing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), business practices and a company's commitment to sustainable development. The EcoVadis organization covers 198 supplier categories in 155 countries and has more than 150 experienced CSR analysts. Since 2007, more than 55,000 companies and 300 industry leaders have joined the EcoVadis evaluation platform.
