Trainees are integrated in each department’s medical personnel, are assigned full responsibilities and staff the inpatient wards.

• Fellowship in Pediatric Surgery Department (Clinic and Intensive Care Unit) for twenty seven months, during specialization, under the late Professor G. Charissis. I was honored to be chosen to discuss two major medical surveys on “Surgical treatment of Hypospadias” and “The breakthrough of Nd-Yag laser treatment in infantile Hemangioma” at the M.A.P.S. (Mediterranean Association of Pediatric Surgeons) conference in Corfu, Greece in Oct. 2000.
• Fellowship in Metabolic Disorders clinic, under Professor E. Ganotakis, focusing on Diabetes, Cholesterol, and Thyroid disorders. (Six months during specialization)
• Fellowship in Cardiovascular Laboratory under Professor G. Kochiadakis, focusing on the impact of modern way of living on the cardiac muscle.

EXPERIENCE

Royal Mare Thalasso Spa, Crete, Greece: 2002-2004

Chief of medical staff, provided medical examination to incoming customers along with proposing additional Spa treatments and supervising for optimal execution of the programmes for complete customer satisfaction. (Approx. 7000 customers/year).

Was also Occupational Doctor for the employees of the resort and spa.

Also provided “on call” medical services to V.I.P. customers of all three hotels of Aldemar Hotels Group.

On behalf of Aldemar Hotels, visited “LES Thermes Marines du Saint Malo” and “Hotel Thalassotherapie Dinard” in France for a month of training in Spa procedures and Spa administration.

Private Medical Practice: Elounda, Crete, Greece. 2002-2004

“On call” medical services for V.I.P. customers of several hotels in the region including “Blue Palace” and the world famous “Elounda Beach”.

Blue Palace Resort and Spa, 2003-2004:​

Head of medical staff, provided medical examination to incoming customers along with proposing Spa treatments and supervising for optimal execution of the programmes for complete customer satisfaction.

Also provided “on call” medical services for V.I.P. customers of the resort.
